Since I am currently writing a book on the history of the Summit, I have some info at hand that might be of interest to you. The 1993L (light-weight aluminum alloy spool model) was introduced in 1935 and was manufactured by Pflueger until 1971 when all Summits were discontinued. From 1966 on Pflueger was a division of Shakespeare.

Jessie, the Pflueger Summit No.1993, yours having the black and ivory marbled crank knobs were made from around 1930 up until the beginning of the war, it should have patent dates behind the face plate above.
