Aug. 2023 • Family. We visited Candleston castle on a wet midweek day in August. We were looking for somewhere to take the grandchildren and opted for three castles namely Candleston, Ogmore & Coity. The castle is actually the remains of a 14th century fortified manor house and is to be found in Candleston Woods.
