It's not that I dislike it, I am just curious how the Nagaoka compares to it. There is a guy on YouTube that did VERY extensive reviews of the m97xe and the Nagaoka and he concluded the Nagaoka was far better. The 1999 M97xE was the last model from Shure before cartridge production ended in 2018. In 1995, Shure went through a severe downsizing of their cartridge manufacturing division and as a cost-cutting measure, ceased production of all prior models. The only model still in development was the V15VxMR and after it was released in 1997, R&D.
